Forget the turkey, let them eat cake
Oh yes, it is.
A CAKE.
How stinking cool is that? Kudos to my friend Sherri Randell, for her amazing Cake-Boss-like abilities. There is no cartoon character, animated figure, theme, season, or inanimate object she can’t re-create. For myself, I consider it “advanced” if I actually flip the 9×13 cake out and frost the sides ….. typically my kids are blowing out their birthday candles with the cake still in the metal pan.
But Sherri is the Bomb! I wish I had a website I could direct you all to ….. suffice it to say, if you are in the OKC area and need a cake for ANY celebration or occasion, wedding, birthday, baby shower, Christmas party, etc., you will want to get her number from me.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some other things to bake for our Thanksgiving feast today, none of which I will eat, because I am SAVING MYSELF FOR THE CAKE.

That is AWESOME! I’m totally with you on the whole leaving it in the pan thing. Hope you guys have an awesome Thanksgiving and eat way too much food

Seriously…you can’t really flip a cake out of a 9×13 can you??? Never even thought of that! I just assumed it must be served out of the elegant silver pan!
