Kristie, do what I do with the laundry, just throw it down the stairs and then have your husband lug it back up when it’s clean and dry. Saves my back AND it makes him feel like he’s being helpful. Although I must admit that my lovely husband, and Blaine, seem to be more than helpful around the house.

How about some before and after pictures? I remember the pictures when you moved into the house and that crazy huge closet. I would love to see what you have done.

I think you need to call the store and bitch for some type of reimbursement. The fact that 2 men, who are not professional furniture deliverers, and a *child* figured out how to get the couch in the room and the “professionals” couldn’t (wouldn’t), oh man I would be sooo pissed. Delivery and setup are generally a steep fee and if they offer “free” delivery, the cost is really rolled in to the cost of your furniture. Good luck getting the contractor situation worked out. Maybe you and the contractor(s) need to sit down and have a “Come To Jesus” about your expctations. Don’t be afraid to, this is *your* money and they are working for you.
